Mari Carmen \u00c1lvarez earned her Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Valencia. She brings in over 15 years of experience managing biotech firms. As a pioneering scientist-entrepreneur, she co-founded Valentia Biopharma, the University of Valencia’s inaugural biotech spin-off dedicated to discovering and developing drugs for rare diseases. In her role spearheading R&D, she’s been involved in over 10 international consortiums, overseeing diverse teams.
